Founded in 1994 by Michelle Devon, Accentuate Services began as small but eager venture, contracting a few projects only for select clients.
Today, we are global company, staffed and contracted with the best writing and editorial talent on the web today, to provide editorial, writing and writing administrative support to authors, individuals, publishers, and companies all over the world, but we still provide that small business feel and personal, dedicated services to all our clients and authors. We are proudly based in the USA, on the Gulf Coast of Texas, between Houston and Galveston, and we hire only English-speaking, trained writers and editors to work with our clients. We are determined to match authors with the right editors, to match writers with the right businesses, and to match projects with the right personalities so that everyone comes out completely satisfied with a completed project well done.
Accentuate knows how important and intensely personal your book or project is to you or your company; we are here to help you make it the very best it can be, before, during and after the writing and publication processes. We have information and resources for writers in all stages of their writing careers, from freelancers to fiction authors, from journalists to columnists and bloggers. While no one can or should guarantee your writing will sell or be picked up for publication, professional editing, proofreading and formatting can give your writing an edge others may not have. Understanding and knowing the ins and out of the publishing industry can give authors and writers an edge with which others not ‘in the know’ can’t compete.
